Movies, TV, radio, people's names, street names, products, foods, photos, tourism, famous people, words in English borrowed from German, books, magazines, art, museums, sports, exchange students, Germans you meet, holidays, other classes, German history, general culture, etc.

  1. 5 points: where did you hear German, what were the words and what did they mean? Describe fully.
  2. 10 points: Discuss connections between the words and their meanings, discuss the situation and the use of the word. Relate it to discussions we've had in class

  2. 10 points: Why is this a German-related item? Why did you find this thing in the U.S.A., if that was the case? What does it tell us about German culture, behaviour, habits, mentalities, values, etc. Why do Germans do this particular thing? Why is this important to or typical of Germans. Relate it to discussions we've had in class
