St. Louis and Missouri: I was born and raised in St. Louis, received B.A. and M.A. from the U. of Missouri in Columbia, lived abroad for 3 years, and then returned to St. Louis to teach and raise my daughter. I also have an M.A. in TESOL from SEMO. My resume

Canada I spent 1990-92 attending the U. of Toronto, living downtown. I love Toronto, except for the lengthy winters and the high cost of living. The cosmopolitan atmosphere (links to India, one of my favorite cuisines), the well-mannered and cultured people, the cleanliness, safefty and organization of the city, the excellent beer and pubs, and abundant hockey all made it an enjoyable experience.

Turkey! An amazing country! Both antiquity and modernity collide to create a most unique place, where you can study history, see Greek and Roman ruins, visit many original sites of Christian history and later Byzantine and Ottoman history, enjoy beautiful beaches and weather, sample one of the world's finest cuisines, and experience the hospitality of the Turkish people.
